The white village church in Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden — possibly the most photographed church in Bavaria. The classic shot is from the wooden footbridge just downstream, with the Ramsauer Ache stream in front, the church behind, and the Reiteralpe peaks framing it all. Best at sunrise (no people, soft light) or late afternoon. The church itself is a small 16th-century chapel, free to enter when not in service. Park in Ramsau village (€2/hour) and walk five minutes. Combine with a drive 5km up the road to Hintersee for the full Ramsau loop.
