Lake Suwa is a lake located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. On the 15th August, a large fireworks festival is held at this lake. During the festival, you can see about 40,000 fireworks above the lake. Even though you can see from the free area, it is recommended to buy a ticket to see them. This fireworks festival is very known as a one of the largest fireworks events in Japan. It is ralatively easy to get to the site, this is a must-go event if you stay in Japan during the season.
