Directions

Lake Tōya is a volcanic caldera lake located in Hokkaido, Japan, known for its stunning beauty and crystal-clear waters. It never freezes, making it a popular spot year-round. The lake is surrounded by parks, walking trails, and onsen with picturesque views. Nakajima Island in the middle of the lake houses the Tōya Lake Forest Museum. The area is a favorite for visitors seeking relaxation and natural beauty. I cycled around the lake and I found that it was a really nice cycling course that I want to recommend.
