The Queimadas Parking Lot is a convenient and picturesque space for embarking on an outdoor adventure. Located near the town of Santana, this parking lot provides the perfect starting point for conquering an epic trekking route ofMadeira: the Levada do Caldeirao Verde. This 6.5km one-way tour offers breathtaking views of waterfalls, lush greenery, and 100m drops. The trail is mostly flat and straight-forward, but includes 4 tunnels that can be slippery in winter time. All its exposed sections are secured with a wire fence.
