PR11 Levada dos Balcões is a stunningly beautiful family-friendly trail on the island of Madeira. The beautiful Laurissilva Forest awaits hikers when they reach the iconic Balcões Viewpoint at the end of the gentle one-way 1.5 km route. Along the way, one can observe the Fajã da Nogueira Hydroelectric Power Station and feed the rainbow trout that have been brought to repopulate Madeira's waterways.
