Located in Faial, the beautiful Água d’Alto Waterfall is one of the stunning waterfalls madeira island has to offer. Standing 150m tall, it can be seen from afar and is a wonderful example of nature's beauty. To experience the waterfall, you must take a 10 minute walk on a tranquil levada path up until you reach it. Once you have arrived, you are greeted with a peaceful view overlooking a lush green canyon and the gushing waterfall. It's easily one of the most underrated waterfalls in Madeira and should definitely not be missed!
