Tasman Glacier Walk is a short, easy walk that gives you a close look at New Zealand’s largest glacier and its milky blue terminal lake. The return walk is about 30–40 minutes and mostly flat, so it suits most people and works well if you’re short on time. Wear good walking shoes and bring warm layers because it can get windy and cold near the glacier. What you can expect is a raw, icy landscape with floating icebergs and a quieter feel compared to the Hooker Valley Track.
