How to decide your itinerary
The most important thing for you to do is determine the most important places you want to go:
Surfing, food and coconut palm forests - Siargao
Hiking hills and unique animals - Bohol
Dive culture and magical/voodoo history - Siquijor
Crystal clear lagoons, islands and wreck diving - Palawan
Resort Style Shopping and Beachfront Bars/Restaurants - Boracay
Waterfalls, Canyoning, Sardine Snorkelling - Cebu
Once you determine your priorities you can best plan you itinerary.
Itinerary Options
Taster Tour of the Philippines: 5 - 7 days
Some people on a trip of Asia will "stop in" to the Philippines and just see Boracay or Palawan (El Nido & Coron) and leave. However our recommendation would be a bit longer.
Discovery Tour of The Philippines: 10 - 14 days
To see the main attractions (Cebu - 4 days, Palawan - 5 days) and two extra spots (Bohol - 3 days, Siquijor - 3 days OR Siargao - 5 days) you need 10 - 14 days at least! You will leave feeling satisfied after exploring multiple different islands and having incredible experiences.
Immersive Tour: 3 - 4 weeks
If you want to explore further you could easily spend 3 - 4 weeks here. We spent 2 months here and still have much more to see.
People that work online can easily spend a month in Siargao because the surfy culture, great food and social scene make you feel right at home.
