Sugba Lagoon is one of the most popular day trips from Siargao, and for good reason! It’s a huge turquoise lagoon surrounded by limestone hills, with platforms for jumping, kayaks to rent, and plenty of space to swim.

It does get busy, but it’s still a fun outing, especially if you rent a paddleboard or kayak to explore further away from the main dock.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Clear water for swimming, paddleboarding, or kayaking.

  • A wooden diving board is the main attraction for jumping fans.

  • Tours usually include a stop for lunch at a nearby island.

  • Can get crowded, especially midday with tour groups.

  • Still beautiful if you push out further into the lagoon by kayak.

TO ACCESS

  • 30-40 min boat ride from the port to the lagoon.

  • Entry + boat + environmental fees are usually included in tours (~₱1,600–₱2,000 per person, lunch included).

  • Best to book as a day trip through your accommodation or a local tour shop.
