The island hopping in Siargao focuses on three islands:
Naked Island: beautiful sandbar but zero shade, usually a quick stop for swimming and photos.
Daku Island: great swimming and snorkelling, usually the lunch spot with seafood BBQ.
Guyam Island: small, palm-fringed island for snorkelling and relaxing.
Or/and (Check before with tour operator)
Sohoton Cove: The iconic small green land masses and lagoon water
Sugba Lagoon: A blue lagoon where a dive board is located for fun tricks!
This is the standard island hopping trip from Siargao. All the islands are a bit different and worth the full day tour if you’re keen.
We actually just called ahead/chatted on WhatsApp and showed up and hopped on one of the boats which fit all our mates. It was verrry affordable. But we didn't have much say in where we went and when, perhaps if you planned ahead with a tour operator you could have more say.
If you like to have everything pre-paid and pre-booked, here’s an all-inclusive full-day island-hopping tour with free drone footage and mermaid tails! You might find cheaper deals in town, though.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Touristy but fun.
Shared tours might be crowded. But it wasn't too crowded for us.
We recommend private tours especially if you’re in a group, as it gives you more flexibility and can avoid crowds.
