We haven’t done this one ourselves, but the Loboc River Cruise is one of the most popular activities in Bohol! 

You jump on a floating restaurant boat, eat a buffet lunch, and drift along the calm river surrounded by thick jungle.

 It’s a classic countryside stop and often paired with the Chocolate Hills and Tarsier Sanctuary.

It’s also included in most full-day tours, along with the Tarsier Sanctuary and the Chocolate Hills, like this one from Cebu. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

• The cruise lasts about an hour, with a buffet of local dishes included.

• Boats usually have live music onboard, fun but a bit touristy for our liking.

• Best done as a midday break in between sightseeing as it includes food.

TO ACCESS

• Located in Loboc town, about 1 hr from Panglao or 40 mins from Tagbilaran.

• Tickets are around ₱800 per person, lunch included.

• Easy to add to a countryside day trip with the Tarsier Sanctuary and Chocolate Hills.
