Osmeña Peak is the highest point in Cebu and a popular hike to do while in the area.

Bur don’t picture a massive mountain climb. It’s actually a short 20-30 minute hike to the top (easy-moderate). 

What makes it special are the jagged, green hills that look a bit like Bohol’s Chocolate Hills, but smaller.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Short and easy hike.

• Views stretch across Cebu and out to the sea on clear days.

• Popular spot for sunrise or sunset, but it can get cloudy fast.

• Basic facilities at the trailhead, with little shops.

TO ACCESS

• About a 1-hour drive from Moalboal

• You’ll need to park near the base and pay a small entry fee (₱30–₱50 last time we checked).

GOOD TO KNOW

• Locals often offer to guide you for a tip but it’s not necessary, the trail is straightforward.

• Bring a jacket, it can get surprisingly chilly and windy up top.

• If you want more adventure, you can combine it with Casino Peak or waterfalls in the same area.
