The island-hopping in Bohol is not as varied as in El Nido or Coron, but just as epic!

Most of these tours take the whole day and include three islands:

  • Balicasag Island: Excellent snorkelling and sea turtles all around.

  • Virgin Island: Has an impressive sandbar which is great for photos, but can get busy

  • Pamilacan Island: The furthest one from Panglao, with quiet beaches and even resorts if you want to spend the night.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Early morning departures (around 6am) to spot dolphins before the sun gets too high.

  • Expect crowds in peak season, private boats are available (we recommend this).

TO ACCESS

  • Most tours leave from Alona Beach on Panglao, where you can book directly with operators or through your hotel.

  • Shared tours cost around ₱600–₱1,000 per person, while private boats are ₱2,500–₱4,000 depending on group size.
