Rumor has it this giant tree is over 400 years old! It’s connected to the island’s reputation for witchcraft and “black magic,” and many locals believe the tree is enchanted.

At its base is a natural spring where you can dip your feet and let hundreds of tiny fish nibble at them, great if you’re after a bit of foot spa.

It’s not the most thrilling stop, but it’s a fun, quick visit if you’re passing by or if you’re curious about the island’s mystical past.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Shallow spring-fed pool full of tiny fish that nibble your feet.

  • Quick stop, 20-30 minutes tops.

  • Locals may share stories of healers and rituals tied to the tree.

  • Small souvenir stalls and drinks nearby.

  • Can get crowded with tour groups, but turnover is fast.

TO ACCESS

  • About 15-20 min drive from Siquijor town.

  • Entry fee was around ₱20–₱30 per person last time we checked.

  • Easy to combine with other sights in a loop around the island.
