Wangi Falls is probably the most popular waterfall in Litchfield. It’s a gorgeous double-waterfall with a massive swimming hole, plus picnic areas, BBQs, and even a café nearby.

It’s not the quietest spot in the park, but it’s a great one to make a full day out of it if you have the time!

We’d recommend hanging around until after the day visitors leave and enjoy the golden hour there.

There’s also a 2WD campground nearby with some of the best facilities in Litchfield, including hot showers and the café close by. Just book ahead and pay online, you can’t pay on site.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Two waterfalls dropping into a big swimming hole

  • Very popular, expect crowds in peak season

  • Lawns, picnic areas and BBQs

  • Café and change facilities nearby

  • Campground with hot showers

TO ACCESS

  • NT Parks Pass required

  • Sealed access, so 2WD accessible

  • Short walk from the car park

  • ~2hr drive from Darwin
