The Chocolate Hills are hundreds of cone-shaped hills all over Bohol’s countryside. They’re usually green, but in the dry months they turn brown, hence the name!
It’s an epic thing to see, all those hills rolling into the distance. The main viewpoint is in Carmen (where the pin is) which can get a bit crowded in peak season.
We found the countryside around the hills very special too, especially the small B&Bs nearby. It was more peaceful than the built-up resort area of Panglao.
If you prefer doing a full-day trip from Cebu, there are tours like this one that include Chocolate Hills and other highlights in Bohol!
