Banul Beach is one of the most common lunch stops in island-hopping tours.
It’s a small strip of sand with a huge limestone wall behind it, a few wooden huts for shade, and enough space to jump in for a swim!
It’s not somewhere you’d spend a whole day (most people are here for an hour tops) but it’s a great place to refuel and take a few photos before heading to the next spot.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Short, shallow swim area
Wooden tables and benches where tour crews set up lunch.
Pretty views, but it can feel cramped if a few boats arrive at the same time.
TO ACCESS
Only reachable by boat on an island-hopping tour from Coron.
Usually part of the same routes that visit Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, or Skeleton Wreck.
TIPS & HACKS
Bring cash if you want to buy snacks or drinks from the locals selling them on the beach.
If you’re on a private boat, aim to get here before 11.30 am or after 1 pm to avoid lunch crowds.
Bring your own snorkel, there’s a small coral patch just off the beach.
Keep stuff off the sand, it gets wet quickly when boats come in.
