Banul Beach is one of the most common lunch stops in island-hopping tours.

It’s a small strip of sand with a huge limestone wall behind it, a few wooden huts for shade, and enough space to jump in for a swim!

It’s not somewhere you’d spend a whole day (most people are here for an hour tops) but it’s a great place to refuel and take a few photos before heading to the next spot.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Short, shallow swim area

  • Wooden tables and benches where tour crews set up lunch.

  • Pretty views, but it can feel cramped if a few boats arrive at the same time.

TO ACCESS

  • Only reachable by boat on an island-hopping tour from Coron.

  • Usually part of the same routes that visit Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, or Skeleton Wreck.

TIPS & HACKS

  • Bring cash if you want to buy snacks or drinks from the locals selling them on the beach.

  • If you’re on a private boat, aim to get here before 11.30 am or after 1 pm to avoid lunch crowds.

  • Bring your own snorkel, there’s a small coral patch just off the beach.

  • Keep stuff off the sand, it gets wet quickly when boats come in.
