Get ready for one of the most dramatic scenes on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula! Here at Lóndrangar, you'll find two immense basalt pillars, remnants of an ancient crater, standing defiantly against the crashing waves of the Atlantic. From the car park, it's just a short, easy walk to the main viewpoints. For an even more impressive perspective, I recommend taking the coastal trail that leads you closer to the base of these magnificent sea stacks—it really gives you a sense of their scale and power. In the summer, look out for the puffins and other seabirds that nest along the cliffs.
