Il Black Dragon Pool Park (黑龙潭公园 – Hēilóngtán Gōngyuán) è uno dei luoghi più fotografati dello Yunnan e un sito classificato AAAA (4A). Situato a nord di Lijiang Old Town, è celebre per i suoi stagni cristallini, i padiglioni tradizionali e la vista iconica sul Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, riflesso nelle acque limpide.

Costruito nel 1737 durante la dinastia Qing, il parco è anche un importante centro culturale: qui si trovano il Dongba Culture Research Institute, dedicato alla cultura Naxi, e antichi templi immersi nella natura.

✨ Consiglio: visita al mattino presto per ammirare il riflesso della montagna nello stagno. Tieni presente però che ad agosto le nuvole spesso coprono il Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, rendendo difficile vederlo chiaramente.

Black Dragon Pool Park (黑龙潭公园 – Hēilóngtán Gōngyuán) is one of Yunnan’s most photographed sites, rated AAAA (4A). Located just north of Lijiang Old Town, it is famous for its clear ponds, traditional pavilions, and the iconic reflection of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the water.

Built in 1737 during the Qing dynasty, the park is also a cultural hub, home to the Dongba Culture Research Institute, dedicated to Naxi heritage, and historic temples set in lush gardens.

✨ Tip: visit early in the morning for the best chance to see the mountain reflected in the pool. Keep in mind that in August clouds often cover Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, making it hard to see clearly.
