Surrounded by pine trees and with an elegant terraza underneath stone arches, this hotel was built in 1948 and certainly has a vintage quality - you could imagine Audrey Hepburn (who had a home in nearby Marbella in the 1960s) swinging by for a cocktail.

You don’t have to be a guest here to enjoy the ambience and views. We popped in for a coffee one sunny Sunday in November and found plenty of tables free on the terraza. Late morning (after the hotel breakfast service is over but before the lunch rush) is probably your best bet.
