Big Ben is one of the most iconic landmarks in London, right next to the Parliament. Technically, “Big Ben” is the bell, while the tower is called the Elizabeth Tower, but everyone just uses the same name.

It stands along the River Thames, in front of the Palace of Westminster, and it’s instantly recognisable: the giant clock, the Gothic style, and its location make it one of the most photographed spots in the city.

At night, when it’s lit up, it looks even more impressive and it’s definitely a must-see in London.
