These are some of my favourite hotels that I have stayed at myself and can definitely recommend.

Villa Copenhagen is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Copenhagen right next to the Central Train Station as well as Tivoli Gardens. Thus, in perfect walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions in Copenhagen. I spent a night here during covid lockdown and got to experience the hotel almost completely empty. It holds a lot of small fun pieces of history from its time being a post house, giving it a charming and authentic feel contrasting its otherwise classic modern aesthetic. It has a heated rooftop pool that can be utilized year round as well as an amazing breakfast restaurant where you can experience an exceptional BMO (bolle med ost/bun with cheese) - the unofficial Copenhagen dish.

Hotel Sanders is without a doubt one of my favorite places to be in Copenhagen, whether it's for their amazing breakfast or lunch, or even just a cup of coffee og glögg during winter. Their restaurant and living room is one of the coziest places in Copenhagen (according to me), it feels like stepping into the 1950s and comes with lit fireplaces, cozy furniture and an amazing staff. Even if you don't stay here, Sanders is always worth a visit just to feel the atmosphere. I especially love it during the winter!

Before I officially moved to Copenhagen, Tivoli Hotel was my home whenever I visited with my grandmom. We would visit the city a few times a year and always stay here. The rooms are beautiful and the new tower of the hotel is home to one of my favorite restaurants, Sticks and Sushi - it comes with one of the most breathtaking views of Copenhagen as well as a rooftop terrasse where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink. The hotel is within walking distance from the Central Station and Islands Brygge where you can walk along the canals of Copenhagen. If you choose to stay here, remember to book a room in the new tower, and if you can, upgrade to their Executive rooms. By doing so, you'll get access to an exclusive breakfast buffet complete with an omelet station and amazing personal service.
