Come and feel the history at Five Wells Square, a truly unique spot in the heart of our old town. Built in the 16th century during the Ottoman sieges, these five stone wellheads once provided the entire city with water from a massive cistern hidden just beneath your feet. It’s a peaceful place now, perfect for a short stroll and some photos, nestled right between the old medieval walls and the entrance to Queen Jelena Madijevka Park, the first public park in Croatia. You'll find it's a wonderful spot to pause and imagine Zadar in a different era.
