Old Faithful is Yellowstone’s most famous attraction and one of the most predictable geysers in the world. Watching thousands of gallons of steaming water shoot into the air is something every first-time visitor should experience at least once. • Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the predicted eruption if you want a good seat.
• Explore the Upper Geyser Basin while you wait instead of sitting on the benches the whole time.
• Restrooms, restaurants, a visitor center, gift shops, lodging, and a general store are all located nearby.
• Parking fills quickly during the middle of the day, so arrive early if possible.
