Taiwan has many old streets, and this is one of the most underrated ones! You must have heard about Jiufen (The so-called spirited away village), but this one in Tamsui is much more localized, and you will feel the Taiwanese culture better.

What we love about this old street is the fact that it is right beside the sea, so you can get the ocean view and eat your favorite Taiwanese snacks! Especially during weekends when crowds can be pretty large, it's an experience that anyone should try.

Getting here is easy, take your nearest MRT to Tamsui MRT station then go to Exit 3 and walk for 5 minutes until you reach the old street.
