Lake Tekapo is one of the most picturesque lakes in all of New Zealand. During the end of November and start of December you will catch the lupins in full bloom. The lake and snow capped mountains create the perfect backdrop to photograph the lupins. I recommend visiting at sunrise for best light and less people.
