Hey, I’m Lisa 👋

I’ve been living in the Canadian Rockies for about 8 years now — and somehow, I still haven’t gotten tired of it (which says a lot).

I’m originally from Germany, left everything at 25 with zero English, and somehow ended up living in places like Australia, New Zealand, Sweden… and now here.

I’ve actually tried to leave the Rockies twice — once to Sweden and once to Invermere… and both times I came back. So yeah, this place kind of has a grip on me.

Over the years, I’ve spent way too much time exploring — figuring out what’s actually worth it, what’s overrated, and what most people completely miss.

This guide is basically everything I wish I had when I first got here — the good spots, the better alternatives, and the ones I keep going back to.
