I recently did a 2-day tour around the south of Iceland using Thrainn Kolbeinsson’s Rexby guide, and it was absolutely fantastic. Thanks to his guide, I felt like I had a local expert in my pocket the entire time. Every stop was clearly explained and easy to follow, and he highlighted all the must-see spots along the southern coast – from stunning waterfalls and black sand beaches to beautiful viewpoints I never would have found on my own.

What I appreciated most was how practical and helpful the information was. As a tourist, you really need details like where to park, how long to spend at each place, what to watch out for, and the best times to visit – and his guide covered all of that. It made the trip smooth, stress-free, and so much more enjoyable. I felt well prepared and confident everywhere I went.

Overall, I can’t recommend Thrainn’s Rexby guide enough. It helped me make the most of my limited time in Iceland and turned a good trip into an amazing one. If you’re visiting Iceland, especially the southern part of the island, do yourself a favor and use his guide!

Thrainn's guide gives you a lot of opportunities to make your visit to Iceland unforgettable! Here you can find the best spots according to your interests : from well known waterfalls to lesser known spots and hidden gems; where you can loose yourself in nature, far away from crowds. I especially liked to find out about the local (natural) pools, nothing better than relaxing in a hot bath after a strenuous day of hiking :) The guide is very clear and easy to use! About every spot there is usefull information, written in a nice personal style :) Every place is also illustrated with his most beautiful photos, so you get some ideas for taking pictures as well! And...if you are coming to Iceland for just a few days you will find a few complete Itineraries that will make your planning easier. Last but not least, being on your way, you can always contact Thrainn with any question, he is willing to help you out!

Thrainn's guide really takes the guesswork out of developing your itinerary for a really epic trip. Iceland can be so overwhelming with so many beautiful spots to visit but the way he's detailed locations, timings and even how to structure your photoshoots makes it east to structure and order your locations.

Whilst there's lots of locations on here and you feel you may miss something out, just remember like I did, you can always come back again!
