The beach is not much to speak of, however this place is famous for what is below the water surface. It is one of the best snorkeling spots around and the best place to spot the endemic Banggai cardinalfish. Generally there are lots of colourful fish and corals in good shape. There is a steady current though and watch out for both sea urchins and lionfish.

The entrance fee is 10.000 IDR per person. Renting a cabana is another 75.000 per person. A popular local snack to try are the fried bananas with sambal which taste quite a bit like french fries.
