The Balcones de Calafate excursion is a half-day 4x4 off-road adventure ascending Cerro Wuyliche (also called Huyliche) to 1050-1100 meters for panoramic views of the town and Lago Argentino. If it's a clear day you may see Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre in the distance.

You'll drive 35 km with stops at natural viewpoints like the main "balcón" mirador, Laberinto de Piedras, and Piedra de los Sombreros. You'll also probably get some wildlife spotting such as condors soaring overhead.

Snacks, lunch, or dinner are provided depending on the departure time. There are two daily departures (morning and afternoon) with hotel pickups starting at around 10:00-11:00 or 15:00-16:00
