The Museo Casa de Rogelio Yrurtia is an art museum in Belgrano. The beautiful building was originally the home of sculptor Rogelio Yrurtia and his wife, Lia Correa Morales.

This museum showcases a diverse collection of sculptures, paintings, and household items from Europe and Asia. Visitors can explore the artist's former residence and admire works by artists, including even Pablo Picasso (an oil painting acquired by Yrurtia during one of his stays in paris).

This museum is off the beaten path for most tourists but is a must-visit for art enthusiasts looking to delve into Argentine cultural history.

Hours:

  • Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm

  • Guided tours: Fridays at 3 pm, Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays at 4:30 pm
