San Carlos de Bariloche Airport, officially called Teniente Luis Candelaria Airport, is an international airport serving the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. This is the largest and most important airport in Argentina's lake district.
It's located about 13 kilometers outside the city. There are taxis, but for ease I'd recommend arranging a transfer with your hotel in advance. If you're renting a car, you'll pick your car up here. Even if your rental agency doesn't have an office here it's possible that they can bring you the car when you land, ask them specifically.
This is the major hub for northern Patagonia. All of Argentina's main airlines operate here with regular flights to all of Argentina's major cities. While other cities like San Martin de los Andes and Esquel also have small airports, they have much fewer daily flights. If planning a road trip in the region it might be in your interest to make it round trip so you can fly in and out of Bariloche due to the higher flight frequency, lower flight costs, and more availability in rental cars.
