Buenos Aires was designed by Carlos Thays to be perpetually in bloom. He chose the trees to have all of spring in summer with something blooming iand starting in September we have the lovely pink Lapacho.

And of the many Lapachos in Buenos Aires, the Lapacho de Ezcurra is the most beautiful. It's huge canopy stands in front of a beautiful, historic mansion.

Planted by landscape artist Martin Ezcurra, this famous tree on Ave. Figueroa Alcorta is a must-see spectacle for lucky visitors in late September/early October, marking the coming of Spring.
