Mirador Lago Espejo is a viewpoint of Lago Espejo from above off. It is the postcard of Villa La Angostura and likely you saw this view while researching your trip at some point.

How to get there: Drive north out of Villa La Angostura on Ruta 40 and take a left onto Ruta 231 towards the Chilean border. Almost immediately, after just 650 meters, you'll see the viewpoint (mirador) on your right. There is a parking lot where you can safely pull over for photos.

Beach access: You don't have access to the lake from here. If you want to access the beach, head back to Ruta 40 and turn left. You'll see signs marking the access road for Lago Espejo's beach (playa).
