Cerro Bayo is Villa La Angostura's ski resort. It is much smaller and, in my opinion, more charming and beautiful than Cerro Catedral in Bariloche.
It is conveniently located very close to downtown VLA. You'll head south on Ruta 40 until you reach Ruta 66. Hang a left and drive up hill until you reach the dead end - the entrance to Cerro Bayo's parking lot. The lot is paid but locals park along the road outside the entrance to save that cost.
