La Casita de la Oma is THE teahouse of Villa La Angostura. The setting is in a home in the residential area just a few blocks from the main street downtown and it really does feel like you're eating in abuela's house here.

They operate without reservations so I recommend arriving just before they open to ensure you get a table if visiting in busy season. We were there in summer and enjoyed the cozy interior but in summer you can pick a table in the garden.

Order cakes and pastries to share if you have a group because everything is as beautiful as it is delicious.

Hours: Closed Mondays, open Tuesday through Sunday from 3:30 pm to 8 pm.
