If you have time for only one dinner in Villa La Angostura, do yourself a favor and go to Waldhaus. The complete name is Cocina del Bosque, cuisine of the forest and it is as cozy as the name denotes.

It's housed in a log cabin with sliced logs taking the place of floor tiles, lace is draped over the windows, and of course there is a cozy fireplace.

The specialty is their fondue but there is a variety of local dishes to choose from. And by local, I mean spaetzle and goulash brought over to this region from European immigrants. The cuisine is hearty for the cold weather.
