La Fonda del Mercado in Villa La Angostura is one of my go to spots for a laid back lunch. The menu is full of the classics - milanesa (my favorite), steak, and pastas. It's located in a shopping center so there is also a cafe and pasta restaurant among other shops.

La Fonda is laid back and family friendly. For example, the place mats are meant to be colored and they provide crayons. It keeps my kids busy for most of the meal.
