Floralis Genérica is a unique sculpture in Buenos Aires that looks like a giant flower made of steel and aluminum.

It was designed by architect Eduardo Catalano and can open and close its petals depending on the time of day. Catalano created the sculpture as a gift directly to the city.

The sculpture is located in a park and stands 23 meters tall, weighing 18 tons.

Unfortunately, the flower lost a couple petals during a storm with extremely strong winds in December 2023 - the photo is after that storm.
