Villa Ocampo was once the home of renowned Argentine writer Victoria Ocampo, who hosted many famous artists and intellectuals here.

This historic mansion is in San Isidro, a wealthy town north of Buenos Aires. Today, Villa Ocampo is a UNESCO observatory and serves as a museum and cultural center, preserving the legacy of its former owner and offering visitors a glimpse into Argentina's literary and artistic history.

How to visit:

  • You must buy a ticket in advance.

  • Villa Ocampo can be visited:

    • On Fridays from 12: 30pm to 6pm

    • Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10am to 7pm.

  • I recommend going on a guided tour:

    • Fridays 2pm and 4pm.

    • Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 12h, 14h, 16h and 18h.
