La Colorada is an iconic building in Palermo, a piece of London in Buenos Aires.

It was designed by Englishman Regis Pigeon. The bricks and materials were all brought from the United Kingdom. Ships used to bring exports like beef and wheat to the UK were sent back with construction materials.

The six-level building stands out for its unique design with a functioning elevator dating back to its opening.
