The Monumento al Indio Tehuelche is located in extreme south of Puerto Madryn near Punta Cuevas. This 7 meter statue is of a Tehuelche warrior, the original inhabitants of this land before it was colonized by Welsh settlers in 1865.

La Rambla, el Paseo Costero: This monument marks the end of a 5 kilometer/3 mile walk along the coast that started at Muelle Luis Piedrabuena. I recommend doing your walk in that order, ending at this moment because Punta Cuevas has incredible views for sunset.
