Bahía Guardaparque on Lago Espejo is about 12 kilometers north of Villa La Angostura on Ruta 40. This Lago Espejo beach is also home to a park ranger's cabin (hence the name).

In the peak season of the warm summer months you'll find a lot of activity here - think kayak rentals, lawn chairs for rent, a kiosco selling drinks and snacks, and people taking in some sun and swimming in the bay's calm waters. There are day camp sites with parrillas for lunch. If you don't want to grill, pack a lunch to enjoy at the picnic tables or on the beach.

In colder months it can still be enjoyable since this beach is tucked away a bit from the wind. This is a great pit stop along the Ruta de los 7 Lagos to stretch your legs.
