The Librería de Ávila in Buenos Aires is not your average bookstore. Dating back to 1785, it is the oldest bookstore in Argnetina!

Originally known as La Botica, this historic spot has been selling books since 1785 but admittedly, the building has changed.

This is the shop for antique and treasure seekers instead of the NYT best selling list sort of books. You'll find books all about Argentina - literature, history, and culture. The children's section has great books to bring home for the littlest ones waiting for souvenirs.
