Chocolaterie is a family-owned chocolate shop that blends Belgian tradition with Patagonian roots. It's a newer addition on Bariloche's chocolate scene, founded only in 2015. It may be new but it's a favorite of mine. Chocolaterie crafts artisanal chocolates using high-quality Belgian chocolate and natural ingredients sourced from the Patagonia region.

They have a small storefront downtown if you need to pick up a forgotten souvenir, but I recommend visiting this location at KM 15.5 of Avenida Bustillos in a small shopping complex. There is a shop here with great take home gifts but also a cafe with a hot chocolate menu and an ice cream parlor (something for each season, if you will). The owners brought their kids old toys here so if you come with little ones, they'll have plenty to do while you relax.
