The Glaciarum Museum is a modern glacier interpretation center dedicated to educating visitors about ice, glaciers, and the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Opened in 2011, it features interactive exhibits, dioramas, multimedia displays, and 3D models explaining glacier formation, history, and their environmental importance.
The museum's architecture even resembles the face of a glacier, they didn't skimp on the details.
Ice bar - Would an ice museum be complete without an ice bar? Maybe, but it's definitely better with it. GlacioBar is a bar made with glacial ice. Get a cocktail (or juice for the littles). They provide parkas and gloves.
Free shuttle: There are free shuttle buses departing from the ACA Hosteria (Google Map pin here). The transfer is free and included in your ticket to the museum. You do not need to have a ticket in advance, you can buy it once you arrive at the museum. This is a great arrival or departure day activity.
With your own car: You'll take on Ruta 11 towards Glaciar Perito Moreno for 8 kilometers. Turn left and drive one kilometer on a dirt road to the museum.
Guided tours - Perito Moreno + Glaciarum: Book a guided tour like this to do it all in one day.
