The famous Cafe Paulin is famous for its sandwiches.

Open every day but Sundays, they get busy at lunch. Go at noon when they open or expect a line.

Place your order then see it fly down the bar as they slide it from the kitchen to the servers. It's quite a show.

If you want to see the plates slide by in front of you, pick a seat on the right side as you enter.
We ordered the Spanish tortilla sandwich and it was perfection but the menu is very long. They also have lunch specials, empanadas, salads, and a beautiful coffee for dessert served in pistachio cookie cup.
