This classic spot facing the port is one of my favorite restaurants in Ushuaia. I love their lentil stew or goulash on cold days and will always re-visit, on every single trip.

While I love it for lunch, their bakery is also excellent - with house made pastries offered daily. For a cute treat, buy a penguin crafted out of chocolate and merengue.

The space is preserved as it was for the space's original function – an old frontier general store. I love looking at all the antiques lining the shelves.

It’s open all day from 9 am until midnight.
