La Covacha was our favorite restaurant in Puerto Piramides. It is about 50 meters from the beach angled perfectly so that its deck offers incredible sea views.

Go at the end of your day on the peninsula to grab a beer or coffee on their deck. On our first visit with my parents we found ourselves here every day.

For dinner or lunch come for their fresh seafood with plates piled high with mussels, crab, and fresh caught fish. There are plenty of non-fishy options on the menu as well.

If you're staying on the peninsula go whale watching on the final outing of the day to see the sunset from your whale watching boat. When you come back cold and shivering from being out on the water go straight to La Covacha for dinner. The fire in this cozy restaurant will start to thaw you out and then your hot dinner will finish the job.
