The Bahía de los Troncos is an easy stop along the Circuito Chico. Troncos, meaning logs, line the beach (basically, the name fits). With kids this is idal, let the kids run and climb the logs as you sit peacefully with a coffee or mate. There is a path in the woods that connects it with the dock for Lago Escondido so you can easily park at one and see both.

Visitors can enjoy walking along the beach, marveling at the petrified logs scattered around, or taking a hike to the Playa Tacul viewpoint.

For the hiking trails, read this hiking guide as there are short hikes that connect different viewpoints here. All are easy but it's best to plan ahead.
